Generally speaking, all the 12 month remote working programs I’ve checked out so far online revolve around a very similar approach.. a 12 month program with a month to month fee, which covers expenses like travelling, accommodation, transportation etc.
By pre-paying the fee, arguably, you end up paying less than if you were to travel solo. However, you’re still (whether you like it or not) locked in to the program.
As I coWork the World, I continue to network with many founders, startup entrepreneurs, digital nomads and one common theme keeps cropping up when it comes to travel for them.. there’s just way too much discrepancy between travellers. Some digital nomads prefer cheaper AirBNB options, other more established entrepreneurs and angel investors prefer 4 to 5 star luxury. By throwing everybody into a single category of accommodation, your bound to make people upset about comfort on one end, for some, and price on the other end, for others.
The coWork the World difference..
You can think of our tour as something similar to mashing together a dating site with a cruise ship. Members of the site get to “cruise together on the same ship” but everyone gets to select “who they want to date” or, put another way, “who they do not want to date.”
coWork the World allows you to curate and customise your OWN detailed itinerary, either collaboratively with other members, or individually, depending on your preference.
Here’s what you get when you sign up with coWork the World..
- Membership into our program
- Access to other members in the program for communicating, collaborating and connecting with whilst coworking the world.
- A list of the coolest coworking spaces in town, we’ve already done the hard work of pre-selecting some of the best coworking spaces at each destination and added them into the itineraries for your convenience.
- Flexibility to opt in and opt out on a LEG to LEG basis.
- Flexibility to opt in (for an extra fee) for our travel concierge service, who can take care of things like accommodation, transportation, insurance quotes etc., on your behalf.
- Flexibility to customise and curate your detailed itinerary. Don’t want to stick around Barcelona for the full 15 days? Want to explore other parts of Germany? No problem! We don’t lock you in anywhere. You’ll always have access to your member peers and can stay in touch throughout the process.
- Leverage group buying discounts by collaborating with other members in the community. Once again, we don’t take an upfront fixed price from you to leverage group buying power. If you want to collaborate with other members for the purpose of group buying power via our dedicated partner app, you’re free to do exactly that! If you want to continue to roam freely and independently/individually.. you’re free to do that too!
- Every member will be profiled on our website. Our members are all working on amazing and inspiring projects, ideas, startups etc. whilst coworking the world and we want to share that back with the world as a part of the learning and growth process.
- We try not stay longer than 10 - 20 days at each destination and each travel LEG is between 30 to 90 days. Travel LEGS generally cover more than one destination.
After coworking Europe, Australia, New Zealand, India and Asia, our Founder, Nader, has managed to get a bearing around how long is just too long. 10 - 20 days is an ideal timeframe to allow you to soak in a destination and its surrounding hotspots, as well as build great networks with the local startup ecosystem and coworking community, before finally moving onto the next destination.
